Compatibility for KamTape

KamTape's compatibility includes a Flash media player for older devices and devices that do not support HTML5, alongside with a HTTP version of the website as a workaround for devices that only work with HTTP or browsers using a old type of TLS.

History

In 2023, Jr created the website in the Early July 2005 layout and development began immediately, The introduction of pi (Co-Founder) joined the development a day after. Now it is a popular video sharing site in a nostalgic layout.

Traffic

Kamtape's traffic serves 70 million videos per day and serving six million accounts daily alongside over 60,000 videos being uploaded per day and serving over more than 200 million page views by unique users and known to be the 18th most trafficked site on the Interweb according to some sources (Alexa) .

Funding

KamTape's funding was received in the form of a webserver in August of 2023 and the service was launched officially on the same date.
